Your reading stays on your iPhone.
Last updated: September 2026 • Lisperio Beta Policy
1. Fundamental Privacy Position
Lisperio is engineered from the ground up to operate locally on your iPhone. We believe that learning to read an unfamiliar language should be a private, personal journey. The app does not require you to create an account, does not include third-party advertising, does not bundle analytics or tracking SDKs, and does not synchronize your reading material across cloud servers.
2. Local Spelling Conversion & Storage
When you paste text in Arabic, Greek, or Russian, the transliteration engine performs its standard character and diacritic alignment entirely within the local sandbox on your device. Any passages you save, collections you create, and spaced repetition review history remain exclusively in your iPhone's local application storage.
3. Clipboard Access
Lisperio accesses your system clipboard only when you explicitly tap the Paste action in the reader. The application never scans, monitors, or reads the clipboard passively in the background.
4. Device Audio & Synthesizer Voices
Sentence speech playback utilizes Apple's native AVSpeechSynthesizer and installed system voices. Audio synthesis is computed on-device using your installed Apple language assets. If a matching system voice is not installed on your iPhone, iOS may prompt you to download the voice package from Apple.
5. Beta Email Requests & Deletion
If you voluntarily submit your email address on this website to request access to the TestFlight beta, we use your email address solely to send you the TestFlight invitation link. We do not sell, rent, or share your email address. You may request immediate deletion of your email from our beta queue at any time by emailing us at privacy@lisperio.app.
6. Reading History
Optional reading history is disabled by default in the app settings. If enabled by the user, history is stored strictly on the local device and can be cleared with a single tap.
